Context Map

Context Map

A Context Map is a diagram that captures all Bounded Contexts in a system and the relationships between them, making the overall domain landscape visible at a glance. It documents how different parts of the system communicate and translate concepts across their boundaries, exposing integration points that are often implicit in legacy codebases. For modernization teams, a Context Map is the starting point for understanding what can change independently and what changes require coordination.
