Bounded Context
Bounded Context¶
A Bounded Context is the unit of isolation in Domain-Driven Design: inside it, the domain model is internally consistent; at its edges, translation layers handle the differences between neighboring models. This isolation means that each context can evolve its model without contaminating others, which is especially valuable when incrementally replacing parts of a legacy system. Agents and services operating within a Bounded Context can be given a narrowly scoped responsibility, making their behavior predictable and their contracts stable.
