Enabling Team
Enabling Team¶
An Enabling Team is a temporary, specialist group that detects and fills gaps in the technical or organisational capabilities of Stream-Aligned Teams, acting more like an internal consultancy than a shared service. Rather than doing the work for the delivery teams, it teaches, coaches, and pairs until the capability is embedded and then moves on. The goal is always to make itself unnecessary in its current engagement by leaving the team more capable than it found it, which is what distinguishes it from a Platform Team that provides ongoing services rather than transferring knowledge.
