Definition of Done

Definition of Done

The Definition of Done is the set of conditions every increment must meet before it can be considered releasable, regardless of who built it or how urgent the deadline feels. It acts as the team's standing quality standard: stable across sprints, applied consistently, and visible to everyone including stakeholders. When the definition is weak or unspoken, technical debt grows silently and releases carry hidden risk.
